Hi.... I guess my long post didn't make it. But all I said was how wonderful it was to get home last night after our long weekend on Block Island (sans internet) and find your posts and pictures. What an adventure.... we are living it vicariously, and we know that in spite of lack of sleep, in spite of missing us terribly (!), in spite of the rigors of managing children and working all day, you guys will make of this the incredible adventure (and opportunity) that it really is. You are already doing that. Breathe in the atmosphere, the people, even the muddy hands and creepy bugs (if there are any), and live in the moment of this rare and beautiful time. We miss you, and love you both so much.... love, Dad (Charlie)
p.s. who is writing your posts? do you do it together? I can't discern different styles, but I really encourage both of you to take these opportunities to write, write, write-- have fun, don't worry about being clever, but be playful, speak from your heart, use big words if you want, or small words, or make up the words, but get yourself into these posts, as you have been, both of you, each of you-- it really is part of the learning. love, dad
